    . Check for codes.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Camshaft Position Sensors and Crankshaft Position Sensors have been problematic on Nissans. I had to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on a 2006 Nissan Altima for a lady a year ago. After I replaced it, it fired right up. Be sure to check for codes first, however.

If you can hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run, when you turn the ignition switch to ON, it's likely okay. I doubt that the problem involves the timing chain.
