    Suppose that each of the 10 computers connected to a switch can transmit data at 10Mbps. What is the maximum possible throughtput of the switch?

    It depends on the switch, the kind of data the 10 computers are transmitting and where that data is destined (same machine, different machines, a combination). Even if you have a 10 BER Testers setup sending raw 10Mbps traffic it still depends on the switch itself and what the switch can handle.
