    From 8863
    I received a form 1098-T. Can that form be used instead of the form 8863? If not, how do I get a form 8863?:confused:

    No, the Form 1098-T just verifies your attendance and tuition paid to the university/college.

    You can get the Form 8863 from Internal Revenue Service.
