    Uhhh ooohhh
I'm 18 and have been on the pill for about a year now. I am sexually active. My boyfriend and I had sex when I was late on the pill twice in two days. Once its was 2 hours late and another time 15 minutes late ( it was around my ovulation time too) so I normally start my period on the 3rd sugar pill (brown pill) and its normally my full blown out period but this month its REALLY light, I still have period cramps and I'm discharging brown. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative (it was a really cheap one). Any other suggestions on why my period is being funny this month? Oh and I've been late on the pill before and it didn't really give me a light period it just made me discharge early.

Pregnancy will always be a possibility, even with birth control, but the irregular bleeding is likely due to your pill. Depending on the type of pill you are using, you generally have some leeway in time for taking it. Of course taking them the same time each day prevents any concern over how long is too long, and possibly reducing effectiveness.

At this point, continue with your pills, trying to be sure to be on time (set your phone alarm for it), and see what happens when you would expect your next period.

Is two days to early for implantation bleeding ? It was my first time, could it be blood from breakling my hymen ? It was red, thin, and did not last long at all.
