That was my favorite song I played it over and over. RIP Davy. To be honest the last two days of Feb felt like their were lots of deaths. I had family pass, friends had people pass away too. If I believed in bad luck I would say those two days were unlucky.

    Hello Steve:

Wow. Breitbart, huh? He was 43. Davy Jones was at least an old fart.

Sorry for everybody's loss. But, gladder that I'm still around.

1966 ? My world was school ,baseball or football until dark ,or picking up odd mowing and shovelling jobs for cash(started delivering newspapers in 1968), homework ,and with the remaining time the stuff I mentioned above. I was told that I'd be going to Vietnam in 7 years ,but the draft ended the year I graduated from high school.

You guys are only youngsters; by 1966 any threat of me being inducted into the military was past and I began married life. My career was laid out before me, a fresh graduate. Those were simpler days when we niaively thought that the Soviets were a big threat and no one had any interest in the stock market.
