That was my favorite song I played it over and over. RIP Davy. To be honest the last two days of Feb felt like their were lots of deaths. I had family pass, friends had people pass away too. If I believed in bad luck I would say those two days were unlucky.

My world was school ,baseball or football until dark ,or picking up odd mowing and shovelling jobs for cash(started delivering newspapers in 1968), homework ,and with the remaining time the stuff I mentioned above. I was told that I'd be going to Vietnam in 7 years ,but the draft ended the year I graduated from high school.
You guys are only youngsters; by 1966 any threat of me being inducted into the military was past and I began married life. My career was laid out before me, a fresh graduate. Those were simpler days when we niaively thought that the Soviets were a big threat and no one had any interest in the stock market.
