Relax. How long have you been together? It is not necessary to think about your boyfriend 24X7, and what do you mean you 'don't care' about him.

If you are unsure of your feelings for him, ask him politely to slow down. Just relax and chill out with this guy you like and see what it develops into.

This is what dating is all about. Getting to know someone to see how you feel about them. You clearly don't feel strongly about this boy so you would be doing him and yourself a favor by telling that and let him try to find someone who does care about him and leave yo to do the same.
