    1992 Chevy PU has no power at all
    What is the problem if your 1992 Chevy PU has no power at all. Headlights were left on overnight. Battery is charged now and good, Cables are tight, Fuses in cab are good, but no ignition power what so ever.

    . Check all under hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. GM places fuse boxes in different locations from many manufacturers, so check them all.

    . Examine the battery cables for hidden corrosion. Clean the battery terminals and cable connections. Especially clean the main ground.

    . Check the ignition switch for wear or pitting, if the problem persists.

    Thank you Texas. I thought I had found all the fuse boxes but after you advise I searched very thouroughly and found a hidden inline fuse under the hood and solved the issue. I must have popped it when charging the battery. Thanks again from Colorado.

    Nice job. Remember, you only want to charge a battery, after removing it from the car. Otherwise, you may damage the ECM, alternator, or sensors.
