    Yes maceygirl, it is very normal for your first period to be heavy. Just as it is normal for your first period to be light.

    All girls are different.

    Let your mother know you started your period, and schedule an appointment to see your doctor for a check up.

    Yes. It's normal to bleed a lot during your first period. Bodies vary so don't sweat it. Just focus on getting yourself some tampons or sanitary napkins. Be careful with your diet too. Don't eat a lot of protein because it may cause some cramps during your period.
