    Abandonment laws in Georgia?
If your child is 18 years old and still attending high school and one of the parents leave the house with no intent of returning is this considered desertion for the parent that left.

What do you want to happen? Are you going to try and get child support for the child ?

Really too old for custody, since child is already 18.

Are you married and have you contacted an attorney to file for divorce?
