    Roof of mouth and tongue numbness
    I have been had this numbness on the left side of the roof of my mouth and left side of my tongue for about two weeks. It is now going into the left side of my lips also

    I went to the doctor and they did a MRI, CT, echocardiogram and blood work and siad I mightbe having mini-strokes, TIA, I believe it is called. I think it all has to do with stressors in my life, or could it be dental. I have the numbness in the side of my face and roof of my mouth and tongue. It comes and goes at different times of the day. Anybody have any ideas? I have no pain except a little headache in the left side of my head, but not bad.

    Have you consulted with a second Doctor or discussed this - again - with the first Doctor? I would be concerned (as it appears you are).

    I'd keep asking until I got an answer.
