    Going to court for garnishment?
    I have a garnishment, but the amount has now doubled. I paid the 1st garnishment which was more than eht debt, but now am I responsible for all of the extras? I can't afford them and try to pay my utilities... something will will be shut off

    This is the way debts work, if it was 1000 dollars, by the time it goes to court, there is legal fees, late fees, interest, court fees, and legal fees. So many times the amount you have to pay can double or even triple by the time the judgement gets issues
