I'm trying to have a baby with my girlfriend. We tried to conceive Feb.13th.. And ever since then I've been feeling as though I been bloating up I've been eating more often and have been extremely crampy. The cramps feel like I was about to get my period soon so I didn't pay much mind to it. But on the 24th I started bleeding. It upset both my girlfriend and I because we are really ready to know if I'm pregnant or not. Anyway the bleeding doesn't seem like a period it's a lot thinner and seems wetter. The cramping is outrageous.. I've never had any kids so I'm just wondering could I b pregnant? If so when should I take a pregnancy test?

Was the bleeding about the time you would expect your period? It may just be an off period for you this cycle.

Were you using medical assistance to become pregnant so that you know the 13th was when you ovulated? Often, focusing on just one day can cause you to miss the window of opportunity unless you know the exact day of ovulation. Even with good timing, however, pregnancy can take time.

It is best to try a pregnancy test once a period has been missed. See what happens when your period is due for March. If you start to have possible symptoms sooner, you can always try a pregnancy test sooner.
