When we were in our old house in welwyn garden city I had to take my son to hosp as he has bowel problems and I left my other half with the kids for the night he was sitting in the sitting room watching television with becks and the TV turned itself of and on and said get the f... k out of the house now which freaked them out... There used to be a small bathroom which the taps turned themselves on and in the airing cupboard there were orbes floating up... We would hear scratching sounds on the flooring upstairs before we had pets and had a sense that someone was watching us... Is this explainable or just a bit weird but we are thinking of having someone to bless the house we are at the moment as things still going on should we or will it provoke them more if they don't want to leave ?

Don't get the home "blessed". It is simply not addressing the problem. More times than not it will agitate the spirit(s). There may be a "right" the spirits have to the home. You need to contact a church, but not for a blessing. You need to have someone who is spiritually mature come and remove it and teach you how to keep it clean. What denomination you talk to doesn't matter, they just need to understand their spiritual authority over such spirits. You may need to do some "shopping around", but start getting a hold of some churches.
