    Loud Pipe Noises...
    Hey there,

I moved recently to an Apartment Building on the 1st of July, and everything was fine... but while it was getting colder outside, around the end of October, loud pipe noises started to appear in my Bedroom. I contacted the Building Manager and asked him to send a Plumber out to check on it. Now it's February, the Plumber has been sent out, and claimed he fixed something, but the noises are still there. I am sleeping in the living room since November and am waiting for the Plumber to fix the Problem.

What could it be, that it takes so long to fix it? It's a loud banging, drilling, rattling noise... throughout the day. In the night time it seems to be more present.

Loud Popping Type Noises [ 3 Answers ]

We recently build a new house. During the night really loud popping noises start coming from the attic, so loud that they awake me, it can to me be quite frightening. Is it the timber expanding and contracting that makes up the roof?
