What heat pump thermostat will auto select between emergency (gas), heat, and cool?
I have a new house with heat pump. Although the thermostat senses the outdoor temperature and will auto select cool or heat, it will not that the next important step to auto select emergency heat when outdoor temperature is below set point. What should the emergency heat set point be? Is a heat pump thermostat available that will auto select between emergency (gas), heat, and cool?
