    Bedroom lighting
Should lighting in bedrooms be on a the same circuit as outlets in the bedroom? Pros and cons of why or why not.

    Thanks,

Can be either way. Pros of having lighting separate from outlets will be if either circuit trips, the other circuit will still be live to provide lighting. Also if the outlet circuit has a large appliance, such as a window AC unit, the large draw of the appliance will not cause the lights to flicker.

The downside to multiple circuits in bedrooms is that each bedroom circuit must be protected by an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter circuit breaker, which are a bit expensive, about $30 to $40 each.
