Why does our downstairs toilet cistern fill whenever I turn on a bath tap upstairs?
The toilet is fitted with a silent inflow valve. In normal use it works fine. When an upstairs bath cold water tap is turned on the downstairs inflow opens and water begins to run into the cistern, eventuallly overflowing. Why?

About two months ago while doing laundry (in an upstairs laundry room) the half bath beneath the laundry room started to gurgle and then proceeded to overflow. It would also leak from underneath the toilet... We had a plumber out and found out it was a stoppage issue in which my son flushed too...
Hi I have a close coupled push button toilet cistern that is now incredible slow to fill, had a look inside just drippling in water takes hours to fill. Any help would be appricated.
My hot water tap doesn't work downstairs just runs cold yet hot water tap and shower upstairs work and all radiators warm up too I have a combi boiler anyone help please? Cheers
Hi When we flush our toilet it's fine but it does not fill properly until we turn on tap. If we are using shower when we flush toilet it makes a terrible noise as if there is air in the pipes. We have checked the water pressure on our combi boiler which seems fine. Can someone give us any advise...
