    Transistor for fan control
    Hi!

I'm trying to fix a chinese fan control, but I ave problems identifying one of its transistors. Apparently it says.

    IRF60N
    IR849P
    01 4X

Is this code right? The fan manages 24 volts and is located on the top of driver's seat.
    It has 3 operation modes:

Mode 1: Fan works all the time.
Mode 2: Fan works 50% of the time (works 30 seconds, then turns off 30 seconds)
Mode 3: Fan works 67% of the time (works 60 seconds, then turns off 30 seconds)

    Please refer to photos attached.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Az.

The NE556 is a very common Dual 555 Timer.
Hard to Find Data On the IRF60N, Many suppliers, but no data, are you talking about the 3 legged device that looks like a heat sink has been removed?
At 24 Volts, what vehicle is this for?
Can't believe it is getting harder to find specs for some devices?

    Hi Stratmando:

Yes, the supposed IRF60N is the three-legged device that is at the back in picture 2, with its heat sink, located at the right of the blue cable.

It is part of a heavy truck equipment. Could you please identify a substitute for this IRF60N?

    Thank you.
