What settings do I use for a blower motor on a furnace 200,150, 100?
We have a combination wood/oil furnace and recently had to replace a bearing in the fan and the motor as well as the damper motor. The installer also re-adjusted the settings on the blower motor to 100,150,200. The fan would not shut off after that and after spending a sleepless night manually shutting the blower off after it dispersed heat I reset it to what it had been and has been working fine ever since we purchased our house 12 years ago which was 130,150,200. The furnace maintenance person is telling us we need to replace the blower motor as well. What are the settings suppose to be at and do we need to replace this motor as well? I would really appreciate some input here.
