Ge front loader squeals and catches clothes at top
Ear piercing squealing keeps getting worse. Sometimes a piece of clothing will get stuck in the middle of the top of the dryer. Has shredded two pairs of boxer briefs. We close both basement doors to try to quiet the noise

You will have to disassemble it and replace the liner around rear of drum. While you have it apart you should clean it out well be removing all parts except motor and cleaning the parts out by scraping and washing out parts. Lubricate all bearings with white lithium grease (hi-temp) and replace the belt. Dryer will then be like new again. Look on YouTube to see how to do everything.
