    Ac compressor not turning on?
    My AC unit is not blowing cold air. I have changed the filter and checked the inside unit for ice - NONE, and replaced the batteries in the thermosat, also the outside unit fan is on.

    It feels funny talking about ac and we have snow on the ground.
    If you are pretty savy on electrical stuff,you might try disconnecting a wire that goes to the fan motor and turn power back on carefully beware of 230 v ,and see if you hear compressor, if not it may be time to call out the HVAC tech,, as it might get complicated.

    Why ac's compressor is starting late, almost after running fan for 1/2 an hour, why.
