Walking on the treadmill advise.
I've been walking and even running on the treadmill for about a month and I've been hoping to lose upper body weight such as my stomach. I wanted to know if anyone had some advise to that since I'm new to all this weight lose. I went out of my way to buy a treadmill, ab roller, bike, weights etc. but as much as I try to lose the weight it never happens. Am I doig something wrong? I work out 50 minutes twice a day 5am and then again at 8pm.
Can someone please help
Thanks

It sounds as if the exercise program is perfect even if you only did it once a day, but how about what you eat? In order to lose weight or body fat for instance you need to reduce the caloric intake, a fast method I use at work is in order to achieve weight loss use this formula: FAT LOSS - 12 calories per pound of body weight, so say you weigh 140 lbs, 140 x 12 = 1680, so that's what you'd have to reduce your intake per week. If your eating more calories then your expending while exercising you won't lose body fat. There's @ 3500 calories in a pound of stored fat, so that's the amount of calories you would need to cut out of your diet in order to lose that 1 lb. Aerobic exercise is the secret to burning fat, 30-60 minutes per session. But you have to work the whole body, so use the weights also. Eat natural foods, veggies, fruits, lean meats, low fat, low sugar, low calorie foods in small servings, nothing fried and cut out colas, drink lots of water, especially before meals. Cut out junk foods, like chips, cookes, sweets, don't eat fast foods or processed foods, avoid white flour products, use wheat breads, grains, pastas, rice, and low fat milk products, if you like ice reams, eat frozen yogurt, and change to cooking in the oven or broiling with canola or olive oil, use cooking spreads instead of butter or margarine. When you do all this in conjunction with the exercise you should see better results.;)

Stop eating ketchup, mayo, mustard, bacon, fried chicken, fried pork, fried beef, greasy beef, white bread, butter, rice, fried potato, hamburger, cheeseburger, anyburger, whole milk, coca-cola, pepsi or any soft drink (even light or diet ones, wich can even be worse than regulars), and you will lose weight.
Start eating fibers, specially in the morning, like all bran and stuff. Not sugar cereals. Rise protein in your daily meals, putting lean chicken breast (cooked), cooked salmon, beef (without fat), raw fish, cooked tuna (even canned is ok). If willing for bread, try a whole wheat toast, but even with these be careful.
And keep exercising.

Hi everyone,
It's weird. During the last 2 months, I've noticed that my 98 pounds golden lab of 6 years has started having trouble coming down the basement. In fact, the oddity is not just restricted to the basement; sometimes when he runs upstairs to where we sleep, he has a hard time coming...
