    Lights pulse on and off
    The lights on my ceiling fan pulse on and off.what is the most common cause?

    Is it a constant rate, and if so how many Pulses per minute?

    It is a constant rate of about sixty pulses per second.

    Its keeping time with the electricity at 60Hz. That's AC for you, DC doesn't have that problem.
