ADP air handler doesn't always turn on
I have and ADP air handler that serves both my hydroair heat and central AC. We always keep the thermostat switch to the "auto" position for the fan. A couple of times this winter we have come down stairs to a cold house and noticed the temperature was lower than the Tstat was set at. So we noticed the thermostat calling for heat but the air handler doesn't turn on. So we switch the fan switch to the "on" position and the fan blows and everything works. Then we switch it back to the "auto" position and it keeps turning on and off as it is supposed to. But then days later the same thing will happen. So we go through the same procedure. Do you think it could be a relay switch in the air handler?

The air handler on my heat pump won't shut off, the heat comes on and off as it should but the blower never turns off. It is set correctly on the thermostat. It is not set to blow constantly.
In A/C mode, the comppressor turns on , but the fan will not. In heat mode, nothing happens, I'm thinking because the fan needs to run to withdraw the exhaust from the gas. If I turn the fan switch to "on" still have no fan. I have a digital thermostat Any help out there. Thanks in advanced.
My a/c runs but my air handler does not come on. I checked the breakers on the breaker panel and they are not tripped. The house is about 5 years old. Eric
