Fan Motor or Blower Motor? Trane XB80

Outside fan motor clicks and hums - are the fan motor (outside) and blower motor (to circulate the air) tied together? i.e. if one is out, neither will work? If so - how do you diagnose which motor is out? This is on a Trane XB80 Furnace & Air Conditioner

I have Trane XB1000 A/C. Compressor fan is not running. The Blower fan is running. No cold air coming from a/c. Fan rotates freely when tried manually. I changed both fuses on the box. But still a/c is not working. Any help will be appreciated

I have a Trane XB1000 unit and the fan has been contstantly running even though the heat and ac have not been on and it's about 40 degrees outside. I just replaced the capacitor by the way. Any thoughts on why it is running all the time?

EDIT: I was told that my compressor is bad, not my condenser. My apologies. Just bought a house and had the HVAC guy out to inspect the units. Both are XB1000's.
