    Male genital and anal discomfort
I recently went to the ER because of blood from my rectum. It wasn't a lot, just more that I thought there should be. I had excruciating pain of the anus and sensitivity to touch. I also had slight pain on either side of my testicles, but the actual testes themselves. The doctor told me is was an anal fissure, most likely from constipation. I have had no unprotected sex, but that's not always fool proof. I also do not engage in anal sex with my anus. Nearly two days after that and I started getting relief from the anal problem, now when I try and urinate it takes at least twenty seconds to initiate a stream, and it is hard to maintain a constant regular flow. There is no burning associated with urination. I have recently developed an itch inside my penis, originating from the urethra (best educated guess), however it could also be a reaction to the vicodin the doctor prescribed for me. I am a safe sex freak and preach it often, if not an STD what could this be? I realize the two things may be unrelated but I have a doctor apptment tomorrow for proper testing. Any ideas?

It would be foolish and inappropriate for anyone who has not examined you to "guess" at the cause of your problem.

I trust it will be resolved at your appointment tomorrow.

I would assume your doctor checked for other issues, It does sound somewhat like prostate issues. Of course with that said, even "safe sex" is not always 100 percent. So if one is sex active, being checked is always a must.
