    Closing of house in an estate
    I'm am the exucator of my moms estate and I'm selling her house and I have a tax lien on me does that effect the closing of her house my name is not on the property ?

    Tax liens are not on "people" you can not be sold for taxes. A tax lien would be on some property you own. Did they place the tax lien on this property? Have you searched court records to find out if a lien has been placed on the home?
