    Severe back pain
I have been having severe back pain for the last two weeks associated with fever. I have taken Tylenol 500 mg, and Aleve, but the pain won't go away and the fevers are becoming more frequent. Should I go to the emergency room. The pain is from the bottom to top of my back. Its even worse when I'm standing.

Do you have any problem urinating? Yes, you should go to the ER to be evaluated and properly diagnosed. This could be a kidney infection and should be treated. As this has been going on for 2 weeks, associated with fever, it is likely that it will not go away without medical intervention.
