Please help me pass DEQ. I have a 1996 Ford Explorer and it runs perfect.
Runs perfect. But the check engine light is on. Anybody know any tricks to getting it passed without having to pay a couple hundred dollars to take to a mechanic?

Take it to autozone or O'rileys or any parts store near you that can read the code. You might be able to fix it yourself once you know what it is.
