    Are there taxes or transfer fees on quitclaim deeds in nj ?

    There is a realty transfer fee if the deed recites consideration of $100 or more. It wouldn't matter whether the form of the deed is a quitclaim deed or otherwise. Generally speaking, a QCD is like other forms of deed except that the grantor does not warrant that he or she has good title to the property.
