If no charges were filed and it says court order for release, why is he still there?
My husband is on probation & was arrested Jan 9 for possession of a pipe with meth in it. On Jan 12 an officer at the front desk at the police station said he was "imperitive release" "charges not filed", but was transferred to county jail. After 3 days (and still in custody) the lasd.org website shows: Next Court Code: SOJ Next Court Date: 02/02/2012. Below that is another case number that is all 9s and says court order for release. He thinks he will be released on Feb 2, after court. If no charges were filed and it says court order for release, why is he still there?
Can someone please tell me what to expect?

I would, and it is a educated guess, he is held because he was on probation and he has to have a hearing to be released from the probation hold. Most likely yes, he will be released
