5 year old humps a pillow
My daughter humps pillows and I believe that it isn't normal. I've taking everything dealing with boys away to see if that will help and it doesn't. Is this normal? What else should I do? Every time I tell her to stop or anything like that she yells at me and gets very upset.

Stop reacting the way you do; anything sexually related in a five year old is normal. At that age they are exploring and don't know the difference.

It has nothing to do with boys.

She will stop yelling as soon as you calm down. She doesn't understand why you are upset and it is way to early to tell here why.

    Hello mom:

You're WRONG. It's perfectly normal.. Leave her alone. You COULD tell her about PRIVATE behavior vs public, if you wanted to teach her a lesson.

Why do you believe this isn't normal?

"Everything dealing with boys" has NOTHING to do with this - she enjoys the sensation and so she continues.

Shaming her is going to backfire on you.

Tell her there are things people do in private and things they do in public - this is a private thing.

How odd that Batgurl066 has a 5 year old. On January 17, 2012 she posted this: "I'm 13 and my boyfriend is 18 we love each other and have been together for almost 6 months." https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/teens/...ip-628332.html

I doubt she's sharing an account with her mother because she goes on to say - "My mom found out but we are still talking I love him too much to leave him. And she said if she finds out we're talking again that she will press charges but we have not done nothing at all like that." Seems that if "Mom" has access to her account there are no secrets.

There were several threads which contained very incorrect quasi-legal advice concerning teens, dating and sex.

    Odd indeed.

I'd like to hear the story about how she had a child at 8 years old... that would be one for the record books.

JudyKayTee is correct. She's got the nose of a bloodhound. The OP is 13.
