    Letter from Alberta to Maryland
    I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it would cost for me to send a letter from Alberta to Maryland, Germantown.

    Britters, That depends on how heavy and many pages you write. I believe it is .39 cents for a letter under an ounce is still U.S. cost.

    Letter postage from Canada to the United States is currently 93c for letters under 30g.

    You should allow about twice the time you would for domestic post, as international mailing has to go through the postal service of each country, as well as some delay for customs. Bear in mind that customs can add unexpected delays, although that is most often limited to parcel post.
