My sprained ankle still hurts after 1 week?
I sprained my ankle a week and a day ago, by falling down the stairs. I went to a&e and the doctor there said I have ruptered it, and my dad said its basically a sprain. But the pain and swelling has gone down on the ankle bone on the outside of my foot and moved to the inside part of my ankle and it hurts to walk and go up and down stairs. Its also quite swollen as well and it is so painful. How long does it take to heal because I want to do exercise on it again.
I also have high rated hypermobility on my joints, could this have effected it? Please help? |
