    Laminate floor
I want laminate flooring in my living room. Was thinking to get real wood, but my floor isn't level at all.
At the moment we had a shaggy carpet and can't tell much.
I had a look underneath and it's not level.

    Regardless of
Laminate or hardwood your floor needs to me level. Get an engineer to give you advise. It is well worth the investment.

If you install a laminate floor over an uneven substrate, it will fail. It will tear the joints apart and your floor will be ruined. Level the floor first.
