I dyed, my hair black an early last month. Then recently dyed it dark brown, I didn't see much of a change, so I used and peroxide/baking soda/honey lightening mix.That made my hair look like a dark brown color. I'm trying to get back to my natural color, so my mom bought me clairol natural instincts in medium golden brown. Will this work?

Probably. If you really want your real hair color to come back, wait a while until your roots actually take over.
Usually, chemical products don't help that much because they are chemicals and sometimes don't know what they are used for.
If you need your color back fast, then just dye it to the color you like. It is the easiest thing to do.
