    Migraine headaches -- help!
I have had migraines for 15 yrs and no med insurance. Had a good migraine coming on since 5 pm. I take fiorcet for it and clonazapam for anxiety. Even took tylenol and its getting worse. Took a warm bath, I can't get it to stop. I need suggestions. I'm on Iowa care and on a waiting list for a yr to even get in. My head feels like its going to pop and very nautious. What should I do? Sandy. Now the fiorcet barely works and I'm about done . Don't know what to do

    Join the club,,
I have migraine too and at times, I feel like smashing my heat to the wall and get it over with. I went to a lot of doctors and trust me, THERE IS NO MEDICINE.
Read carefully and so as below.
Make a note- how frequently you get it
    How long it lasts
What causes it (some kind of inconvenience causes migraine, hence no medication)

There are several reasons for migraine attack like
    Suffocation
    Hunger/acidity
    Spicy food
    Sleeplessness
    Weather-too hot/cold
    Oily food
    Chocolate/coffee
    Loud noise
    Etc etc

It differs from person tp person.

To me, chocolate reduces the pain. So make sure you make note of what might have caused it. When you have the pain, do something that relaxes u. usually sleeping doesn't help because you are idle and only thing that you can concentrate on is the pain. Try doing something you like, like cooking, talking to someone face to face, taking a warm bath, basically which doesn't require a lot of concentration or physical activity, but something that can pull you off from thinking of migraine. When you get the migraine attack, be positive, keep saying to yourself that you don have the pain. It might not completely go, but it surely will reduce the pain to a level that you can act sane.
    Trust me, it helps.

M not a doctor, but someone like u,, suffering from migraine for ,donno how long, nothing less than 15 years.

It could very well be your blood pressure. Are you allergic to anything? Some allergies cause migraine headaches.
