Growing up I adored my "Suzy" doll... I was born in 1975 and remember always having her with me. I am now looking for a replacement but don't know where to start looking. She fit the description of a "Deluxe Reading Doll" - but I have not yet been able to find the same one. Here's what I remember about My "Suzy":
She was rather big - appx 20" ?
Her eyes were blue and they opened and closed. They also had synthetic eyelashes.
Short, blond, big curls - synthetic hair
Her limbs were hard like plastic but her core was soft material.
There was also some sort of box in her core - when I patted her back she would let a little cry - (I think that was because the device was always broken)
I also remember changing her outfits often.
I know it's pretty vague - but any help on this is greatly appreciated!
