    H4 transfer when outside the USA
    Hello ,

    I am currently on H1 visa and my wife is on a H4 visa from Company A.We are planning to visit India for a vacation.My wife plans to stay back for a while and I plan to return after 3 weeks.Once I return I am joining company B and hence a H1B transfer.My questions are as follows:

    A) When in India , I am going for a H1B stamping from Company A.Is it necessary for my wife to join me for her stamping if she is not leaving the country with me?

    B) After I come back to the USA , my H1 is going to be transferred to company B.Should I also apply for my wife's H4 to be transferred at the same time?Is it going to be an issue that she is in India and her H4 is being transferred to the new company in the USA?

    C) After I get my new H1 and my wife gets the H4 from Company B , if I send all the documents to her in India , can she get the visa stamped from the US Consulate in India ? Remember,she has not got the stamping done for her H4 from Company A but now since I have the H1B from Company B , isn't her old H4 from Company A void?
