    Who's violation
    My daughter was born cesarean after 30 hours of labor. My mother in law is friend with the midwife at the doctors office I was using.since the hospital has med students there is a viewing room.the off duty midwife came in after hours and brought the mother in law into the viewing room to watch the birth. Would have never agreed to this and was not informed of the matter until one month after delivery. Is the doctor or the midwife which sub contracts from the doctors office?

    Depends, if this is a teaching facility you may have actually signed a general permission. So I would review any and all documents for admission first.

    I did sign one allowing only the student with the doctor and it only had his name on the document.
