What will happen if add my spouse to my house and they owe back taxes
My spouse wants me to add him to our home we purchased because he put a large amount of down payment towards the purchase but his credit was not eligible to be on the loan. He owes back child support and back taxes. If I quit claim deed him to the title can the IRS or child support division put a lien on my house.
