The payment of the travel time is included in the "Non-employee Compensation" amount reported on the Form 1099-MISC, so DEFINITELY claim your mileage to the work assignments. That's 50 cent or 55 cents per mile, depending on whether you traveled before or after 1 July 2011.

If you must buy a uniform for work, that is deductible as well.

Assume you use a cell phone for work, so part of that cost is deductible.

You can claim any health insurance you bought for yourself or your family.
