Can I move out of state with my 2 grandkids?
I've had custody of my 2 granddaughters, ages 4yrs and 5yrs, since their births. The mother has been in jail for assault and sex with a minor, she has not had any contact with the older girl since she was 5 months old and the younger she has not seen since delivery. Can I have her rights severed or can I move from New York state to Tennesee?

It is possible to perhaps do both, but both will require you to go to court and get the courts approval.
