Pisa Bristan Shower - water is always colder than the tap
OK, I have a Pisa Bristan mixer shower. The shower, when turned to it's hottest setting, produces luke warm water, despite water from the tap being much hotter. I suspect that the mix of hot to cold water is not good even when I have turned the shower up to it's hottest.

This is a permanent thing, and isn't because I have no hot water, or have just flushed the toilet etc.

I remember reading somewhere that it's possible to recalibrate the shower so that when it is set to hot it has a better hot to cold ratio. Google tells me that there is a cassette inside that is "factory set" to 42 degrees (or something). I somehow need to set this to be hotter, or to increase the mix of hot to cold.

Does anyone know how to do this?

We recently had a plumber in to raise the temperature in our shower. He fiddled about, turning various supply pipes on and off and then deemed he couldn't do anything as he didn't have the part.
