K so me and my girlfriend are both 13. We've only been dating for 2 weeks.

SO, we both like each other. A lot. And today I was texting her, and she seemed down. So I asked her what was wrong. She said that she's in a bad mood. When I asked her why she said because 'When she's not with me, or talking to me she's very sad and grumpy. And she doesn't want the only way for her to be happy me. She wamts to be independent in making herself happy when she's not talking to me or with me. Even when she's with her girlfriends she's grumpy.' I know she has no depression issues or anything, she's a normal girl. But my questions are; What can she do to not depend on me for happiness and get out and have fun with her friends? What are some stratigies? What can I do to help? She says trying not to think of me does not work. Thanks in advance.

Sorry guy, but she is the one to handle her feelings in a positive way that helps her attitude. You are the one that has to deal with it.

Just don't take her moods personally, and let her make YOU as grumpy as she is. Just because she is down, never let her disrespect you, or cause a big fight. Walk away when it gets to be a conflict, and not a conversation. In these ways she will get it, and work on herself.
