    Winded after light exercise
    I just finished taking down christmas decorations and am breathing fairly hard. Why would that be. I'm 57, not 87.

    If you aren't used to regular physical activity, you'd be surprised how little it can take to cause you to become winded.

    If this is new to you, as tickle said, see your doctor for a check-up.

    How many days and hours a week do you exercise, do you walk or jog or run every day. 40 years old get out of breath if they sit and watch TV or sit at a desk all day.

    But also, have you had your breathing checked, often in the late 50's is where many start seeing COPD start.

O my god. I do 500 sit ups, 300 push ups and 700 jumping jacks everyday. I don't have easy acess to a gym so I have to make do with these excercises and occasionally pilates and yoga. I just don't see good results I still look as fat as ever. I barely eat, but still I just don't look good...

What is the name of this exercise. I think it is used in football where you start standing up then go to your knees and then to the pushup position. Then you stand up. I'm hoping I explained this correctly. Is it a core exercise or what?
