Okay so I was trying to download very important pics on my computer & I tried deleted the ones I already had off my computer, but it turns out that it ended up deleting them all off my camera! I really need to get them back, they're pics of my newborn niece! Very important! I also ended up emptying the recycle bin! So in other words, I need to get them back from the recycle bin! Help pleaseee!

Google "open source recovery utilities" or "open source disk utilities" and look for one that will recover your files from an SD card. It would probably be best if you bought one of those USB Card readers (Office Max has them) so you can recover the files from the card outside of the camera. The card plugs into the small portable reader and then the reader plugs into one of your USB ports. Check to see what letter its assigned and point the recovery app to it.

Recuva is one I have heard works well and is free.

I like my portable card reader since I do not have to have the cameras software installed to access the photos on the SD card. That means I can leave copies behind at a friends house who doesn't have my software installed on his PC.
