    How Do You Take a Name off the Deed on a House?
    What if my mother in law has the mortgage solely in her name but I am listed on the deed,I want my name taken off do I just need a quit claim form and does this cost anything?

    Yes you can do a deed to her. There will be at least a filing fee to file it at the court house, This differs to location, some states cost more than others to file.

    Also it would be best to have it written by a title company to be sure it is done correctly
