 I'm renovating a bathroom in a rental unit. The sink I removed was simply seated onto a pipe that is at floor level. There is no threading on it. The pipe that was seated onto it had a flange at the bottom... I'm guessing the weight of the sink kept the seal from leaking... I'm replacing with a...

I recently purchased a 50 year old home (Oct 2009) and moved into the home in March. The house is one floor (crawlspace), has a utility sink that the washer drains into, and has only one bathroom - which all drain into the town sewer.
