    Gold ring with a red stone
    I got a gold ring from my boyfriends mom for christmas. I am nosy and want to know how expensive it is. On the inside ban of the ring it says 1.w.d 14k or I.w.d 14k what's does I.w.d mean oe l.w.d mean. I understand what 14k is I have just never seen the other letters before

    Take it to a jeweler, appraiser, or even a pawn shop. They should be able to easily tell you what any markings on your jewelry mean.
